Integrity as our compass

Responsibility is an integral part of our everyday decisions.
Governance means defining clear values, transparent processes and a shared understanding of how we act – within our teams, in the management of resources and in collaboration with external partners.

This compass guides the way we operate and forms the foundation for long-term quality, trust and credible development over time.

Sustainability management & Strategy

ADLER DOLOMITI has been deeply rooted in Val Gardena for generations – and with the growth of the property, responsibility has grown as well.
As one of South Tyrol’s most traditional hotels, we see ourselves not only as hosts, but also as a long-term partner for the village and the valley.

We do not see sustainability as a fixed achievement, but as a continuous process. Especially as a historic property, responsible action means constantly improving existing structures and implementing measures where they can realistically make an impact.

With ADLER for Planet, we have created a shared framework that brings together our goals and measures and provides guidance across all areas of operation – from energy and resource management to social responsibility and regional cooperation.

A central component is the regular analysis of consumption data and operational processes. This allows us to identify optimisation potential early and implement targeted measures.

Clear internal standards, defined responsibilities and collaboration between departments ensure that improvements are not only planned, but also put into practice.

Dialogue & Stakeholder Engagement

Many decisions made within an operation of our size have an impact beyond daily routines. That is why regular exchange with different stakeholder groups is an important part of our approach.

We maintain close contact with employees, guests, local businesses, suppliers, as well as institutions and associations in Val Gardena.
This dialogue helps us recognise developments early, better understand needs, and develop shared solutions.

Especially in regional projects, it becomes clear how important coordination and cooperation are.
Sustainability is not created in isolation, but in close interaction with the people and structures that shape the valley.

Social Engagement

Social responsibility at ADLER is closely linked to the history of the property.
For generations, the Sanoner family has been committed to the development of Ortisei and Val Gardena
– not occasionally, but in a long-term way, with the aim of making meaningful contributions to the community.

We support cultural, social and sporting initiatives, foster local partnerships, and accompany projects that strengthen life in the valley over time. Visibility is not the priority – impact is.

OUR PROJECTS AT A GLANCE

Cooperation with the La Lòcia Day Centre
In cooperation with the La Lòcia day centre, we support social structures in the region and promote inclusion and participation.

Cooperation with the Cademia Art School
Through our partnership with the Cademia art school, we support cultural education and creative projects in Val Gardena.

Nature and Cultural Experiences for Guests
Through guided excursions in nature, cultural experiences and educational activities – such as farm visits with the children of our Kids Club – we contribute to raising awareness of the landscape, traditions and the living environment of the Dolomites.

In addition, we support numerous associations as well as art and cultural initiatives in the valley.
Dialogue with schools and training institutions is equally important to us: we offer internships, promote apprenticeship programmes and support young people as they enter the working world.

In this way, we aim to create long-term perspectives and contribute to the development of Val Gardena.

Ethics & Compliance

Responsible action is reflected above all in everyday cooperation – in the way decisions are made and how people are treated.
That is why the corporate culture at ADLER  is based on clear values: fairness, respect and integrity.

This approach applies across all areas of the resort and shapes how we interact with employees, guests, partners and suppliers. We foster an inclusive working environment in which origin, age or position do not matter – what matters is teamwork, reliability and mutual appreciation.

A key characteristic is continuity within the team: many employees have been part of the company for many years.
We also maintain long-term relationships with numerous partner businesses and suppliers, built on trust and fair cooperation.

Clear internal guidelines and transparent processes provide orientation in daily operations and ensure that ethical conduct is not merely an intention, but consistently put into practice.
