Prof. Ilaria Tresoldi, MD, PhD

The scientific director of the ADLER Med project, responsible for developing programmes with a focus on prevention, well-being, aesthetic medicine and longevity.

As a medical doctor, my specialist fields encompass regenerative medicine, aesthetic medicine, conservative orthopaedics and advanced functional rehabilitation. My educational background includes international training at University of Illinois in Chicago, the University of Lille and Aarhus University.
Over the years, alongside clinical work, I have been involved in research with numerous publications in international scientific journals. This has been rounded off by work experience in luxury medical spa settings, which has taught me that an open attitude is not at odds with clinical rigour – if anything, it is the very foundation of it.
My approach stems from a specific vision of regenerative medicine – one that focuses on the body’s capacity to repair and renew itself, rather than on symptoms. This translates to addressing tissue quality, inflammation, functional recovery and daily habits, which is done by combining medical assessments, targeted treatments, nutrition and exercise.
This has also informed my understanding of longevity – to me, it’s not about simply extending life, but protecting quality of life by maintaining energy, strength, mental clarity and independence over time.
Measurement is always at the basis of my work– whether it’s body composition, biomarkers, biological age or function – because what can be measured can also be worked on.
Following the same logic, aesthetic medicine and advanced functional rehabilitation both address the same underlying factor – the quality of body tissues. While the former aims to enhance rather than alter skin quality through non-invasive technologies and regenerative protocols, the latter focuses on fascia, posture, mobility and motor control to restore efficient, pain-free movement.
After all, when our capacity for healthy movement is restored, this is also reflected in our outward appearance.
At ADLER, I have found the perfect environment for my vision to unfold. A personal touch, devoting plenty of time to guests’ needs and nurturing an authentic relationship with the surrounding landscape are not merely aspects running in the background here: they form part of the therapeutic journey itself. The silence, the rhythms and the quality of the environment all support our medical goals.
