The water in the Sole pool is slightly saline and heated to a pleasant temperature in the colder months.

Situated next to the Sole pool and even closer to the sea, the freshwater pool is subtly heated to provide sublime refreshment and the ideal swimming experience in any season. The adjacent garden is equipped with comfortable loungers for a rejuvenating sunbath.

A gentle sauna experience which combines the soothing power of heat with the awe-inspiring beauty of the view – the biosauna is the perfect place to let loose and focus on your well-being. It has a temperature of around 60°C and a humidity rate of 40%.

In addition to the AKI Kids Club, the ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI has lots of other entertainment options for the little ones: a mini zoo, the ADLER Alm for adventure games and exploration tours as well as exciting trips with picnics and barbecue parties. Our playful massages and spa treatments are also very popular with children.   

Tucked away in a patch of Mediterranean greenery, the steam bath is the stepping stone to complete relaxation, or the perfect ending to a day dedicated to wellness. DAY 1 – Reception and briefing
The Yuniqly sports expert will welcome you at reception and invite you to the briefing, where all the week’s activities will be presented.
In the afternoon, a nutritionist will offer an interesting seminar on sports nutrition.
The Yuniqly team will be on hand throughout to assist you with any request.

DAY 2 – 50-kilometre cycling session, from Torre Salsa to Porto Empedocle
What we have planned for today is a 50-kilometre training session along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Agrigento coastline.
We will set off after breakfast and cycle through the Torre Salsa Nature Reserve in the direction of Scala dei Turchi, the iconic white cliff that is among the most renowned landmarks of the Agrigento coast.
From there, we will continue on to Porto Empedocle, an ancient fishing village that has now flourished into an economic and cultural centre.
We will then return to the resort and enjoy a relaxing massage at the spa.

Here on the Renon, water is part of a delicate natural cycle – a limited and precious resource. Modern technologies help us use it responsibly and reduce consumption wherever possible. This balance becomes especially visible in the garden: natural meadows and the surrounding woodland keep the soil moist, making additional irrigation almost unnecessary.

The same principle guides our approach to energy. The Lodge is powered entirely by green energy from Alperia, supplemented by pellet heating, district heating and heat-recovery systems.
Smart solutions ensure maximum efficiency, while the large window façades capture natural light and bring warmth and brightness into the interiors.

As a large resort with an extensive wellness and spa area, multiple dining facilities and spacious gardens, water use is naturally high.
Pools, kitchen operations, laundry services and the maintenance of green areas all require a mindful and technically precise approach to this resource.

We deliberately speak of water use rather than consumption, as much of the water is managed within operational cycles and applied responsibly. Precisely because of this intensive use, we implement targeted measures to improve efficiency.

In recent years, flow restrictors have been installed on taps in guest rooms and public areas to reduce demand without compromising comfort.
Rainwater is collected and reused for the irrigation of outdoor areas, helping to reduce the need for fresh water.

For pool treatment, we also rely on solutions that require fewer chemicals: saltwater pools allow gentler maintenance and reduce the need for chlorine.

In housekeeping and garden maintenance, we exclusively use ecological cleaning and care products in line with ADLER standards, preventing additional strain on water systems and the environment.

Since 2024, we have also been offering our guests free spring water from the Cunfinböden in all areas of the resort. This allows us to use a natural local resource, reduce packaging and avoid transport routes – another step towards a holistic and responsible approach.

It is no coincidence that the sea turtle (Caretta caretta) chooses this peaceful corner of Sicily to lay its eggs. The ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA is one of the most eco-friendly 5-star hotels in Sicily on the beach – surrounded by unspoilt nature and perfect tranquillity, which is a privilege that comes with great responsibility. To preserve this slice of heaven for generations to come, we have pledged to offer our guests a beach experience in complete harmony with nature. Our beach is equipped with comfortable sunbeds and parasols, while showers, a drinks kiosk and the stop for our electric shuttle are all a short walk through the dunes. There is a beautiful footpath leading from the Resort through the pine grove all the way to the beach, offering a sea view and the scent of a pine trees along the way.

The coast is situated just 300 metres from our beach hotel in Sicily, and is easily reached either with a pleasant ten-minute walk through the pine grove or by electric club car. Our activity programme also includes water sports such as kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddling, which are offered by partner providers in the vicinity.

Energy efficiency is created in everyday operations – through technology, continuous optimisation and clear operational decisions.
At ADLER DOLOMITI, we focus on renewable energy sources, modern heat generation and concrete measures to reduce energy loss.

The resort is operated with 100% green electricity and 100% green gas, based on energy supply contracts with the regional provider Alperia, ensuring that our entire energy demand is covered by certified renewable sources.

To improve the efficiency of heat generation, existing gas boilers have been partially replaced and complemented by the installation of two new combined heat and power plants (CHP units).
These produce electricity and heat simultaneously, significantly increasing overall energy efficiency.

Targeted improvements have also been made to the building envelope: some of the windows in guest rooms have been replaced with models offering higher insulation values, reducing heat loss and lowering energy demand in the long term.

In the wellness area, operational measures further support energy optimisation. Pool covers help retain heat during the night, while adjusted outdoor pool opening hours ensure that resources are used efficiently – without compromising the guest experience.

The central location in Ortisei offers a clear advantage: many distances can easily be covered on foot.
At the same time, mobility in the Dolomites is an important topic – both for arrival and for excursions in the surrounding area.

To promote lower-emission alternatives, we provide an electric car that can be used by both guests and employees to explore the region in a more environmentally friendly way.

In the area of digitalisation, we also implement targeted measures that save resources and simplify processes.
With the QR Cube, information is provided digitally in guest rooms, significantly reducing paper use. Digital processes also support internal organisation and make communication easier – efficiently and without unnecessary material consumption.

In this way, we combine a central location with modern mobility and information solutions that enable a more conscious use of resources in everyday operations.

Sustainability also shapes the way we use technology and how we move.

Wherever possible, we rely on digital processes – from internal workflows to guest communication – to reduce paper consumption and conserve resources.
Technology is not an end in itself, but a tool: it simplifies daily tasks, increases efficiency and allows us to dedicate more time to what truly matters – authentic conversations, personalised guidance and sincere dialogue with our guests.

When it comes to mobility, the Renon plateau offers ideal conditions for conscious, low-impact travel. The Lodge is easily accessible in a comfortable and environmentally friendly way: by train to Bolzano and then with the historic Renon cable car to Soprabolzano.

Once here, we invite our guests to explore the region car-free – with the complimentary Mobility Card for all public transport in South Tyrol, with e-bikes, or along the many hiking trails that start right outside our door. Charging stations for electric cars are also available.

Our connection with the region is also reflected in the support we offer to the community that welcomes us.

In collaboration with the House for Families in Soprabolzano, we have expanded the public playground by adding a new wooden structure that allows children to climb and naturally develop their motor skills.
We also support the maintenance and improvement of public paths. The trail linking the Sigmund Freud promenade with the stop of the Renon narrow-gauge railway has been improved to ensure accessibility throughout the year.

Another project – the installation of a public drinking fountain along the same route – is currently being finalised in cooperation with the local tourist association.

In addition, we regularly organize forest clean-up days on the Renon – together with the Forestry Service, our team members and their families. During these events, the forest is cleared of litter, paths are checked and minor maintenance work is carried out.
A shared commitment to preserving nature and to the awareness that every contribution matters.

Recycling and waste separation are carried out with great care, and many forms of waste are avoided right from the purchasing stage through conscious choices and reuse.
This is how natural cycles close themselves: in the kitchen, where fresh and seasonal ingredients are prioritized, and in daily operations, where short distances and small quantities make all the difference.

In 2025 we took another step forward: even more precise waste measurement and separation now give us a clear overview and bring us closer each year to our goal of reducing waste. A simple gesture that points us in the right direction.

Achieving this certification requires a clear strategy, a comprehensive action plan, and a system for continuous monitoring and improvement. All aspects of sustainability are communicated transparently and are regularly certified by an independent institution – in our case, EarthCheck.

This recognition reaffirms our path: to manage resources mindfully, strengthen local collaboration, foster respectful relationships with employees and partners, and offer our guests authentic, nature-based relaxation – in harmony with the values and culture of South Tyrol.

OUR PROJECTS

Concerto in Tenuta

In cooperation with Paesaggi Musicali Toscani, we hosted a concert at Tenuta Sanoner in July 2025. This year’s performance featured internationally renowned clarinettist Francesco Paolo Scola and pianist Fausto Quintabà.

Local infrastructure and slow tourism

We support initiatives aimed at strengthening local infrastructure and promoting slow, sustainable mobility in the area around Bagno Vignoni. These include projects to maintain and improve the network of walking paths, such as the redesign of a section between Bagno Vignoni and Pienza damaged by flooding, developed in collaboration with specialised technical experts.
In addition, we support the Municipality of San Quirico d’Orcia in the creation of public parking facilities in Bagno Vignoni, contributing to a more balanced management of the area.

Support for the social cooperative La Ginestra

Through the adoption of olive trees, we support the social cooperative La Ginestra di Pienza, which is committed to social and educational projects with a particular focus on children, young people and older members of the community.

Gravel Event sponsorship

In October, we participate as a sponsor and organisational partner in the Gravel Event in Bagno Vignoni, which brings together around 700 participants and promotes an active, respectful and low-impact way of discovering the region.

What reaches the table at ADLER THERMAE often begins just a few kilometres from Bagno Vignoni. Our supply chain is built with care and is based on long-term relationships with local producers and regional partners.

A key focus is food sourcing according to the KM0 principle. Many ingredients come from the Val d’Orcia and surrounding areas, helping to reduce transport distances while actively supporting the local economy.
A particularly meaningful example of this approach is our own field, where we grow the wheat used to produce the flour for our kitchen – a direct cycle from the land to the table.

Beyond gastronomy, we also pay close attention to responsible supply chain management.
When selecting products and suppliers, we prioritise quality, durability and reliable standards. In this way, we create value in a consistent and responsible manner, strengthening our connection to Tuscany and the region that surrounds us.

At ADLER DOLOMITI, regional value creation has played a central role for generations. As a property located in the heart of Ortisei, we are closely connected to Val Gardena – economically, socially and culturally.

In a resort where many guests are looked after every day, material flows are inevitable – in the kitchen, housekeeping, spa operations and logistics. What matters is therefore not whether waste occurs, but how consistently it is avoided and correctly separated.

Systematic waste separation throughout the entire property is the basis for directing recyclable materials into appropriate recycling processes. Employees are regularly trained and sensitised to ensure reliable implementation in daily operations.

At the same time, we continuously work to reduce packaging and avoid single-use products. This includes the further development of our courtesy line, adjustments to our slipper policy, and the gradual reduction of unnecessary plastic packaging.

Digital solutions also contribute to resource efficiency. With the QR Cube and paperless information systems, we reduce the use of printed materials and lower paper consumption in daily operations.

This creates a waste management approach that does not start with disposal, but already begins with the careful selection of products and materials.

The hilly to mountainous landscape above the town of Bozen is home to swathes of lush vineyards, which thrive under the South Tyrolean sun, reaching altitudes up to 900 metres. Featuring prominently in this winescape are autochthonous grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, St. Magdalener, Pinot Noir and Lagrein. The taverns and wineries located along the picturesque footpaths that criss-cross the area provide the perfect opportunity to explore the distinctive flavours of these wines. One such footpath is the Rebe wine-themed walk that extends for 3.5 kilometres between the localities of Signat and Rentsch. It features art installations by sculptor Filip Moroder with information about the Ritten plateau’s long wine-growing tradition.

Many myths revolve around the magical Dolomites, which glow in the evening sun first a brilliant red, then smoothly slip into orange and violet into the darkness of the night.
In Catinaccio, Laurin, the dwarf king is to answer for this. Deeply offended by betrayal and unrequited love and furious at his defeat in battle he cast a spell over his glorious rose garden to destroy it for ever. Neither by day nor by night shall a man ever see the splendour of the roses again. However, the dwarf king forgot to include twilight and dawn in his spell. And so, King Laurin’s old rose garden occasionally “bursts into bloom” in the gloaming. This miracle of nature is called “Enrosadira” (Alpenglow) in Val Gardena.

For insights into the history of the former Val Gardena railway there’s the Val Gardena Railway Tunnel museum, and for a touch of variety, the Tublà da Nives culture centre hosts a variety of events, from art and history exhibitions to lectures, literary performances and concerts.
