Glancing back, moving ahead and looking forward

With the first season at ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA closing a few weeks ago, it is time for us to take a glance back. It has been an incredibly busy, but equally satisfying time. The opening day in particular was filled with emotions and excitement. While we were confident that our guests would appreciate both the resort and its special location, we also knew that every new beginning comes with its own set of challenges. Who knows what lies around the next corner?

The dream comes true

The countdown to 7th July is on – in a few days, ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA will be welcoming its very first guests. As the opening approaches, the whole resort is abuzz. While the craftsmen tweak the final details, our entire team is hard at work. Warehouses and refrigerators are being stocked, cooking ranges are being fired up - everyone is preparing to give you the best of welcomes.

Our team - Some familiar faces, and a few new ones

Enthusiasm, professionalism and a genuine smile – at the very heart of every ADLER resort is a great team. Soon you will have the chance to meet them in our resort in Sicily – some of them for the first time, others perhaps not. In the meantime, let us introduce some of the people who will make your stay so very special.

Outdoor life - Timeless emotions

Did you know that, as latitude goes, ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA is just a few miles north of Tunis? If you are wondering what the best time of year is to visit this charming little corner of the Mediterranean, the answer is simple: always! With its mild climate, Sicily has something special to offer in every season, with plenty of options for getting active and enjoying the great outdoors.

Sicily, a cradle of history

and a hotbed of stories

There is more to Sicily than just gorgeous landscapes. Due to its central position in the heart of the Mediterranean, this triangle-shaped island has always been a melting pot of peoples and cultures, the common ground on which East and West encountered each other – and the arena on which they clashed.

A natural paradise between land and sea

There are still places on Earth where nature is at its best – places of refreshing wilderness, oases of beauty that everyday life just cannot reach. The Torre Salsa Nature Reserve is one such place.
Established in the year 2000 and managed by WWF, this listed oasis extends across an area of 762 hectares, skirting the sea for almost 7 kilometres.

Mediterranean wellness

Salt crystals and the scent of orange blossoms

Anyone who has ever visited one of the ADLER resorts knows that our wellness and spa facilities are the proverbial feather in our cap.

It is no coincidence that our wellness oases in South Tyrol and Tuscany are among the most coveted by discerning guests seeking to spend a relaxing getaway in natural, yet exclusive surroundings.

A resort by the sea.
With a difference.

A picture tells more than a thousand words, and perhaps the video rendering on our website has already given you a first glimpse of what ADLER Spa Resort Sicilia looks like.
As you would expect, this new resort embodies the ADLER philosophy.

Sea to table

Garden to glass

A sudden apparition.
Strings of light gliding gently over the surface of the sea.
It’s the fishing boats, casting their nets off the coast of Sciacca after the sun has dipped beyond the horizon. They will be back at the crack of dawn.

Guests of nature

ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA has found its home on the dreamy southern coast of Sicily.
From its gentle, macchia-enveloped hill overlooking the sea, it rubs shoulders with the Torre Salsa Nature Reserve, a 760-hectare natural shrine protected by WWF. Its golden beach and coastal dunes stretch for 6 kilometres, with the occasional pearly framing provided by white limestone marl cliffs. Together, the turquoise and emerald hues of the sea, coupled with the evergreen macchia and the manicured agricultural landscape create a canvass of breath-taking contrasts.
