Breathe, meditate and taste ...
A regeneration week in nature to find happiness in your heart and mind. Who had never thought of nature as a refuge, a way to seek peace, wellbeing and happiness breathing clean air and finding balance?
The ADLER Spa Resort THERMAE in Tuscany offers a new slow travel package “Breathe, meditate, taste” to slow down from the hustle and bustle and get back in touch with yourself. During this special week, I will accompany you on a regenerating full-immersion journey into the beautiful nature of Val d’Orcia with many beneficial activities for body and soul, including culinary local experiences. Nature will be the beautiful setting for our activities and a valuable source of well-being, inspiration, and transformation. We will explore the surroundings from many different perspectives.
In our morning walks, we’ll be guided by the sounds of nature, the rustling leaves, the scents of the woods and the colours of the countryside at down. Walking to the rhythm of your breath will help you to release tensions and find serenity. We will discover places full of energy that invite us to the practice of yoga, conscious breathing, and meditation. Peace, quiet and healthy air will foster all the psychophysical benefits of these practices.
We will also dive into the enchanted atmosphere of the Ragnaia wood near San Giovanni d'Asso – in the province of Siena. The gardens were realized by the American artist Sheppard Craige. To walk under the canopy of majestic trees past gardens and sculptures made of terracotta and bronze will be a fascinating experience. But the park will also be the perfect location to practice mindfulness – focusing on awareness and concentration – that will help you to feel deeply connected with nature.
Moonlight walks await you through the olive graves and vineyards of the Tenuta Sanoner. We will meditate under the stars in a peaceful oasis of silence. After these experiences we will stop by the Sanoner winery for a toast with excellent organic Sangiovese wine, enjoying the romantic view of the Tentennano fortress, illuminated at night.
The various activities will include picnics in nature and local delicacy tastings to introduce you to the secrets of Tuscan kitchen. You will discover them first-hand! The program includes a cooking class in a typical farm on the hills. We’ll have a great time together preparing tasty and healthy menus with fresh products from the surrounding fields.
“Breathe, meditate, taste” takes place from July 25th to August 1st with a limited number of participants. Participating to single activities will be possible only upon availability.
I look forward to seeing you!
