What can I do to avoid cancellation fees?
To protect yourself from penalties in case the entire stay needs to be cancelled, we offer the option to take out our advantageous ADLER Travel Safeguard Service at a cost of €10.00 per day per room.

The ADLER Travel Safeguard Service is valid 

• if you or a person for whom the room was booked for cannot arrive because of health reasons or an accident
• if a relative (1st degree kinship) must stay in hospital due to a heavy accident or a sudden emergency
• if you or a person for whom the room was booked for has suffered significant damage to property that requires your or their presence on site

To take advantage of the Safeguard Service a certification is needed (e.g. from authorities, medical certificates).
The ADLER Travel Safeguard Service may be activated simultaneously to the booking confirmation and applies exclusively to full cancellations. It does not cover late arrivals or early departures. The service is not refundable and is not transferable to other dates.

ADLER Thermae is located in Bagno Vignoni, a hamlet of San Quirico d’Orcia, set amidst the beautiful hills of the Val d’Orcia in the South of Tuscany.

Which booking conditions apply?
Your booking becomes binding upon receipt of confirmation from the hotel.
Payment is made on site; a deposit prior to arrival is optional.

When can I check in and check out?
Rooms are available from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival until 11.00 am on the day of departure.
If you would like to use the spa facilities outside these times, they are subject to a surcharge.

Can I book a Day Spa at ADLER Thermae?
Yes – a limited number of day passes for pools and saunas is available, with the option to have lunch at our Osteria. Each day spa package includes a 50-minute spa treatment per person.

Can I charge my electric car at the resort?
Yes, electric charging stations are available on payment in the underground garage.

Which etiquette and dress code apply at the resort?
Please silence your mobile phones in shared areas and avoid speaker or video calls.
Bathrobes are welcome at breakfast and lunch. For aperitif (from 6.00 pm) and dinner, casual chic or elegant attire is appreciated.

Is there a bicycle rental service at the resort?
E bikes are available for our guests free of charge (advance reservation is not possible).
Road bikes and e gravel bikes are available for hire at an additional charge.

Are families with children welcome at ADLER Thermae?
Our resort offers a limited number of Family Suites and Superior Rooms with an extra bed.
Children aged 4 and over are welcome and may access all pools.

Where can I work out at the resort?
As a guest you have access to the panoramic fitness area equipped with the latest Technogym facilities, offering a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding hills.
Opening hours:

• Mon–Tue–Wed–Fri–Sat: 8.00 am – 7.30 pm
• Thu: 9.00 am – 12.00 pm / 3.30 pm – 7.15 pm
• Sun: 2.30 pm – 7.30 pm

Children under 12 may use the gym only when accompanied by a parent.

Is parking available at the resort?
Yes, free underground parking is available (maximum height 2.70 m).

Are dogs and other pets allowed at the resort? 
Dogs and other pets are not allowed at ADLER Thermae. Thank you for your understanding.

Is childcare available at the resort?
To ensure relaxation for the whole family, we offer a caring childcare service for children aged 4 and older.
Hours: Thursday and Sunday from 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm; all other days from 9.30 am to 10.00 pm.
Meals are included and can be booked at the AKI Kids Club.

Which medical services are available at ADLER Thermae?
Our resort features a specialised medical team, advanced medical equipment and an in-house diagnostic laboratory. Programs include weight loss, detox, stress reduction, longevity treatments and aesthetic medicine.

How does ADLER contribute to environmental sustainability?
We love and protect nature! Since 2024, ADLER Thermae has been EarthCheck-certified and follows one of the world’s leading international standards for responsible tourism management, recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). As a guest, we invite you to support our commitment. Simple, mindful habits can make a difference:

• Please bring your own pool slippers from home to reduce the use of disposable slippers.
• Bed linen is changed every 3–4 days. Additional changes are available upon request.
• Please hang up the towels you wish to reuse and leave on the floor only those you would like to be replaced.
• Microfiltered water is available to our guests in reusable glass bottles. We recommend bringing refillable bottles for outdoor activities, which can be refilled free of charge at the resort’s refill stations.

Is smoking allowed at the resort?
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and guest rooms, including electronic devices.
Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

Which saunas are available at ADLER Thermae?
At our resort, five different saunas and steam baths are available and included in your stay.
They are open daily from 10.30 am to 8.00 pm (the panoramic sauna opens in the afternoon).
Guided sauna and fitness tours take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 11.15 am.

Are there special services for pregnant guests?
Our ADLER Spa offers treatments suitable for pregnant women. We recommend consulting your doctor before using the thermal pool.

How and when can I book spa treatments?
ADLER Spa is open daily from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
A wide range of massages and treatments are available.

Which cancellation conditions apply?
Cancellations or changes to your reservation are free of charge up to 20 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. After this period, the following conditions apply:

• 19–3 days prior to arrival: 50%
• From 2 days prior to arrival, in case of no-show or early departure: 100%

Is laundry service available at the resort?
Laundry service is available at an additional charge with delivery within 48 hours.
Dry cleaning is not available.

Which pools are available at ADLER Thermae?
We offer an indoor and two outdoor pools that are open daily from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. The thermal pool has a temperature of 36°C and contains sulphate-bicarbonate-alkaline-ferrous thermal water, beneficial for the skin and musculoskeletal system. Recommended bathing time: 20 minutes with rest breaks.
The 25-metre outdoor sports pool is heated to 26°C. 
Pool access is included in your stay.

Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EC card or cash up to the legal limit of €4,999.
Bank transfers must be credited to the resort account prior to departure.

How does the room cleaning service work?
Rooms are cleaned daily. If you wish privacy and tranquillity, please place the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside door handle. Evening turndown service is available upon request only.

Can I choose my room at ADLER Thermae?
We are happy to note your preferences and will do our best to accommodate them; however, a specific room number cannot be guaranteed.
