Concert in the Vineyard

In July, the Tenuta Sanoner winery once again transforms into an enchanting setting for an unforgettable musical experience. Following the great success of summer 2024, the event “Music in the Vineyard” – created in collaboration with the Paesaggi Musicali Toscani Foundation – returns for its second edition. This year, two outstanding artists will grace the stage, taking the audience on a musical journey that bridges the melodies of the great masters of the past with contemporary compositions. The programme includes works by Leonard Bernstein, Joseph Horovitz, Giovanni Sollima, Eliodoro Sollima and Riccardo Scilipoti.
After the concert, guests are invited to continue the evening with an apericena – a delightful combination of aperitif and dinner – featuring regional delicacies and the exquisite wines of Tenuta Sanoner.

The Evening’s Protagonists
CLARINET
Francesco Paolo Scola, born in Palermo in 1983, completed his studies at the “V. Bellini” Conservatory at just 18 – marking the start of a remarkable career that took him across Europe. Highlights include engagements with the Orchestra of the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, along with performances in prestigious concert halls such as the Philharmonie de Paris and London’s Royal Albert Hall. An internationally acclaimed clarinettist and multiple prize-winner, he eventually returned to his hometown, where he now teaches at the “A. Scarlatti” Conservatory. He has also contributed to the creation of new works, including collaborations with internationally renowned cellist and composer Giovanni Sollima.
PIANO
Fausto Quintabà, born in 1977, graduated with honours in piano performance from the “V. Bellini” Conservatory in his hometown Palermo. He furthered his musical training at music academies in Rome and Pescara, and at the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, where he earned the title “Magister Artium.” He also attended numerous masterclasses. His concert career has taken him across four continents. A laureate of five international chamber music competitions, Quintabà is today considered one of the leading interpreters of contemporary classical music.
