The sustainable way to go – on foot or two wheels
Very few places are as wonderful to explore on foot or by bike as the Renon high plateau. Discover it at your own pace or under the guidance of our outdoor guides – you can borrow a high-quality Bianchi electric bike for free from our own selection. Hiking poles, backpacks and bike helmets are also available for hire on site, so you don’t need to pack outdoor equipment for your journey.
A panoramic train ride
Deep in the woods, yet at the centre of everything. From the Lodge, a short path across a meadow takes you to the Rappersbichl stop on the
Renon narrow-gauge railway. Not only does this historical train offer a memorable experience in its own right, thanks to the wonderful views of the Dolomites – it also leads to some of the most popular attractions in the area. At every stop along the route there are countless footpaths for easy walks and exciting adventures in close contact with nature.
If you feel like taking a sightseeing tour in the picturesque town of Bolzano, all you need to do is hop on board the Renon gondola. Floating over a spread of vineyards, this state-of-the-art lift takes you from Soprabolzano to the town centre in just 12 minutes. Reaching a dizzy altitude of 2,070 metres is just as quick with the
Rittner Horn cable car.
Mt. Rittner Horn (also called Corno del Renon) is a beloved destination, as it commands one of the most beautiful views in South Tyrol as well as offering a variety of walks and hikes in summer and pleasant ski slopes in winter.
When you check in at ADLER Lodge RITTEN, you will receive a complimentary
