How to prepare for the perfect winter getaway at
ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI
With winter just around the corner, the Dolomites are ready to showcase their breathtaking beauty and endless opportunities for adventure. At ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI, we've thought of everything to ensure you enjoy a seamless, stress-free experience – from advice on lift passes to family-friendly facilities.
Here’s how to get ready for an unforgettable holiday.
Ski passes: Val Gardena or Dolomiti Superski?
The Val Gardena ski pass is ideal for those who want to stay local, while the Dolomiti Superski pass grants access to a vast ski paradise with over 1,200 kilometres of slopes. Whichever you choose, purchasing your pass online at least two days in advance gives you a 5% discount. Collect your pass at reception and you’ll be all set for your first run!
Booking ski lessons in advance
Our partnership with the Ortisei Ski and Snowboard School ensures guests have access to top instructors and excellent service. Every Sunday evening, a school representative is available at the resort to answer your questions. We recommend booking lessons early, especially for children. The AKI Kids Club team can escort children to and from their lessons, offering peace of mind for parents.
Equipment and safety: essentials for enjoyment
Safety is key when skiing. Helmets are mandatory for children and recommended for adults. Rental options include skis, boots, poles, and helmets. Liability insurance, required by law since 1 January 2022, is essential; it’s not included in your ski pass but can be added easily with Snowcare coverage at the hotel.
Preparing for a safe journey: winter tyres and chains
Mountain travel requires specific preparations. In the South Tyrol region, winter tyres or snow chains are mandatory during winter months. This ensures a safe, smooth journey even in the most challenging weather conditions.
With these tips, your stay at ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI will be a perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and safety. The Dolomites await you!
