There are several renowned localities in the area, including Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico, Montalcino and Pienza. All have well-developed tourist infrastructure with a choice of shops, cafes and traditional restaurants. You can also visit the larger towns in the area, Siena and Sinalunga, for a wider choice of attractions. For your spare time here at the resort, we have set up a staff bistro with drinks, chill-out areas, TV, table football and a pleasant outdoor area. ADLER employees also enjoy preferential rates at nearby thermal establishments. These include the San Casciano and San Filippo thermal springs, which are available to ADLER staff for free. As for seaside trips, we recommend visiting Castiglione della Pescaia or Marina di Grosseto. Additionally, we are happy to organise group trips for staff to nearby towns at affordable prices.

We offer a five-day week with flexible working hours and the option to choose a part-time arrangement across all our departments. Good coordination among the various departments is crucial to ensure that operations run smoothly and the needs of both the department and the individual employee are fully met.
Generally, we offer new employees a fixed-term contract to begin with, which can be replaced by a permanent contract of employment subject to mutual agreement and satisfaction. Some positions are also available on an on-demand or freelance basis, if appropriate.
Staff at ADLER Spa Resort THERMAE have access to around 30 accommodation units, all within a radius of 100 metres to almost 6 kilometres from hotel grounds. Allowing for some variations, most units consist of single or double rooms with a private bathroom and toilet, as well as cooking facilities. Rooms are allocated by management and are available for the duration of the employment contract.
All our accommodation units are fully furnished and equipped with the basics, including towels and bed linen. Amenities include a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner is provided directly in each apartment. All units have free Wi-Fi and a TV set. Additionally, our employees enjoy access to the gym in time slots to be agreed with management.
Our staff are welcome to use the hotel’s canteen every day at breakfast, lunch and dinner, including on their days off.
ADLER provides some elements of employees’ work attire. For more details, please contact our director or your head of department.
The probationary period can last from 14 days to 6 months, depending on rank and position.
Employees are covered by the Italian health and social security insurance from their first day at work. Additionally, we provide supplementary health insurance through the MySanitour fund.
As the majority of our guests are from Italy, fluency in Italian at C1 level is requisite. Additionally, good command of German and English is an advantage at all ADLER Spa Resorts & Lodges. Knowledge of all three languages is required for some positions.
You will receive all necessary onboarding information by e-mail before you start work. The director or head of department will also be in touch by phone to define the details. A tutor will be assigned to you to answer any important questions you may have during onboarding.
